A Review for Luisa of Lisbon Tour Guides:
I can’t begin to put into words how wonderful Luisa was, she was prompt, courteous, very professional and extremely knowledgeable about your wonderful country.
I was a little worried about hiring her because your website doesn’t give an address or a phone number for a general office so I was a little suspicious about the validity of your company.
As a normal rule, I would not have contracted your firm but the company that I had originally hired was not forthcoming with their rates, when to meet, nor where.
I decided to look elsewhere but didn’t have time to do any proper research, when your company responded to my inquiry, I tried to find reviews on sites besides yours but couldn’t find anything, positive or negative, so I just went with my gut….I am so glad I did.
Luisa put me at ease immediately; she was willing to do and see anything we wanted, she matched our pace perfectly, never rushing us, never upset or impatient and was so helpful with my mother that my mother is still singing her praises.
She always stopped when we wanted to stop and would wait patiently, we never once had to wait for her, for any reason.
Luisa never rushed through explanations, and was willing to repeat anything as many times as needed, she never got frustrated with us and was always very considerate to my mother’s needs as well as ours.
Luisa never told us she had to leave or our time was up, she provided us with professional services until WE were ready to say goodbye, she actually said “don’t worry, I am here for as long as you need me”.
She was always accurate with her directions and showed us secret passages or told us interesting facts that we would otherwise never have seen or known and certainly were not in any guide books I had read.
I can’t say enough about Luisa, she is the best tour guide we have ever had. At the end of our two day tour with her, we felt like we were saying goodbye to a relative, she was so sweet and wonderful.
Thank you so much Luisa for making our trip to Portugal such a wonderful and informative one.

We really enjoyed both our trips and would be very happy to recommend your services if you want to use us as a testimonial. Isabel gave us lots of information about Lisbon which helped us get the most out of our stay there. And Paula was equally brilliant in Sintra - in fact it was difficult to stop her even when our time was up - we had to have a rest for something to eat and drink!!! But please tell her that we did go to the Palacio Nacional afterwards and saw the magpies on the ceiling!!!

The rest of our stay was fabulous, the restaurant I had chosen for dinner, Nariz de Vinho Tinto in Lapa, was absolutely wonderful and I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. It is not touristy, it is small, charming, the food is delicious and the service very attentive. So if anyone should ever ask you...please feel free to recommend Mr. Antonio!
